delivery service is perfect for those who prefer to stay home and
pack whilst we come and deliver the van to you.
Feltham Local Information
Feltham is a town that lies to the south of the main road from Hounslow
to Staines, which runs just beyond the northern boundary of the
parish. Feltham is mentioned in a charter of King Edgar as one of
the members of Staines, which had been given to Westminster Abbey
by Offa King of Mercia. This charter is doubtful of its origin,
and though Feltham may have belonged to Westminster at an early
date, it is not mentioned among the manors belonging to Staines
in the confirmatory charter of Edward the Confessor, the authenticity
of which is not questioned.
The town is a focus for redevelopment within Hounslow. The Centre,
Feltham, which opened in 2006, is a mixed-use development of a hotel,
a library, 800 homes, 50 shops, and a medical centre.
